What is bullying?
Bullying may seem obvious, which is picking on other people. However, bullying can come in different forms. Many teenagers often cannot recognize when they are being bullied.
What are the different forms of bullying?
Physical bullying: Harassing others physically through hitting, pushing, and tripping.
Verbal bullying: Teasing and taunting.
Psychological bullying: Gossiping about others or excluding them from making them feel bad about themselves.
Cyberbullying: Posting information (comments, images, or videos) to humiliate others.
What should I do if I am being bullied?
It is important to seek help as bullying can lead to well-being issues, such as loss of confidence, stress, depression, and even suicide.
Believe you deserve better.
Say no to bullying.
Act brave and talk to an adult you trust about your situation. Find a parent, teacher, counselor, or coach to who you can talk. Report the bully!
