What is loneliness?
Loneliness is an emotion that is often misunderstood. You can be with others and still feel lonely. You can also be alone and feel fulfilled. Usually, for young people, thinking about a loved one they miss so much and would rather be with can trigger feelings of sadness and loneliness. The emotion of loneliness happens when you disconnect with other people, in association with the strong belief that;
No one understands you or what you might be experiencing.
No one can help you.
No one likes you and wants to be with you.
